ARTICLE
3
The
affairs of the Association should be managed by (a) Governing
Council and (b) Executive Committee.
(a)
(i) The Governing Council shall consist of the following by designation:

- Secretary
(Personnel)
- Foreign
Secretary
- Home
Secretary
- Chairman,
Railway Board
- Defence
Secretary
- Secretary,
Department of Women & Child Development
- Secretary,
Department of Urban Development
- Secretary,
Department of Expenditure
- Chairman,
Central Board of Excise & Customs
- Chairman,
Central Board of Direct Taxes
- Inspector
General of Forests
- Deputy
C & AG
- Secretary,
Defence Research
- Secretary,
Department of Scientific & Industrial Research
- Secretary
(Posts)
- Chairman,
Telecom Commission
- Chief
Secretary, Delhi
- Director
General Health Services
(ii)
Tenure of the members of the Governing
Council will be conterminous with incumbency on the designated
post.
(b)
The Executive Committee shall consists
of the following:
-
President
- Vice
President
- Secretary
- Joint
Secretary
- Treasurer
- Not
more than 15 Members
The members of the Executive Committee
as nominated by the Governing
Council of the society shall hold office for a period of five
yeas. They may, however, continue to hold office till first elections
are held.
The
Office Bearers and 10 (ten) Members of the second and subsequent
Executive Committee shall be elected from amongst the Members
of the General Body at the general body meeting.
The
Governing Council shall have the powers to nominate or co-opt
not more than 5 members from amongst the members of the Society
in the Executive committee.
The
Executive Committee shall hold office for a period of 3 years.
Vacancies
occurring in the Executive Committee during its term of office
may be filled by the Governing council by nomination even if the
nomination exceeds 5 (five) members.
