CSOI AMENDED RULES AND REGULATIONS

INTERPRETATION

In the interpretation of these rules and regulations, unless there is something inconsistent with the subject or context-

a. Association shall mean the Civil Services Officers' Institute.

b. Member shall include any eligible Civil Servant as defined in ARTICLE 2 hereunder.

c. Office Bearers of the Association shall mean the members of the Governing Council and members of the Executive Committee.

d. Words importing the singular number only include the plural also.

e. Words importing the masculine gender only include the feminine gender or a body corporate or other organisations.

f. The 'Act' means the Societies Registration Act. 1860.

g. 'Prescribed' means prescribed by any Resolution of the Executive Committee or by laws or rules approved by the resolution of the Executive Committee.
